“I love working with both acrylic paint and paper. My paintings are abstractions created by a long process of layering paint and clear medium allowing you to meander through the landscape that is painting. My current use of paper is to make books and cards. The books are sketchbooks, journals or photo albums...that are rich in color and texture and are embellished with various objects... My cards are elegant collages which sometimes incorporate tasteful, stamped images.”

FIGURATIVE STEEL SCULPTURE

“My work is primarily created in hammered and welded steel, copper and stone. I work with the human figure and nonobjective organic forms in a stylized fashion. My direct challenge is to emphasize fluidity and movement in all of my sculpture. I strive to “make the steel dance.”
